BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All monies received by us are deposited in a protected Bank of Scotland bank account in accordance with the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992. In case of insolvency all monies deposited for holidays not yet completed will be refunded in full.
Serenity Scotland is not responsible for your personal property and strongly advises travel and cancellation insurance. For competitive quotes for travel and cancellation insurance cover try:Squaremouth.
Disabilities: Please let us know of any disabilities that you may have so that we can arrange for your tour / package to be as comfortable as possible. Also let us know if you have any allergies or special dietary requirements.
Clothing: For all tours at all times of year a waterproof jacket and strong footwear / boots are recommended. Warm clothing and hats and gloves are advised if planning to walk or cycle.
Payment:
Once details for the booking have been agreed (and in the case of a scheduled tour, a signed proforma has been received) we will need a non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking. We will send a confirmation of the booking and a receipt by email. Please acknowledge your receipt of this.
Payment of the balance is due 28 days before the start of your holiday. Once received, we will send an email confirmation and receipt for the balance amount. In the event of client cancellations received less than 28 days before the date your holiday commences, full payment will be forfeited.
For private tours : - if paying by credit card / debit card: on receiving your acceptance of the itinerary and quoted price, and once we have received your credit card details, we will debit your credit card with a 20% non-refundable deposit. If no cancellation or other instruction is received by 28 days prior to the commencement of your holiday, we will contact you to ask again for credit card details to debit the 80% remainder from your card.
- If paying by cheque / international money orders, once there is agreement on the itinerary and quoted price, please send the 20% deposit made payable to ‘Serenity Scotland' to confirm the booking and the 80% balance no less than 28 days prior to your holiday.
For scheduled tours (Whisky/ Garden Tours 2008): - if paying by credit card / debit card: on receiving your signed proforma we will check the details and availability and if there is availability, we will debit your credit card (information supplied on the proforma) with a 20% non-refundable deposit. If no cancellation or other instruction is received by 28 days prior to the commencement of your holiday, we will contact you to ask permission to debit the 80% remainder from your card.
- If paying by cheque / international money orders, please send the 20% deposit made payable to ‘Serenity Scotland' with the proforma by post. We will check the details and availability and if there is no availability we will return the cheque by post. Please send the 80% balance no less than 28 days prior to your holiday.
- Please note, international money orders should be in GBP sterling. Serenity Scotland cannot accept international cheques in currencies other than GBP sterling. For details of the option of direct bank transfer please email us.
