The Shoregate, Crail

The Shoregate in Crail in the East Neuk of Fife is a renovated restaurant with rooms and a historic bar. The bar serves fabulous food, a lovely Crail Ale, as well as fine wine, whiskies, gin and creative cocktails.

The pub has a music session on every fourth Wednesday. The session features songs and tunes, modern and traditional. When I am back from tour I take along my fiddle and am joined by some fabulous folks, friends both old and new. Music can extend from Fleetwood Mac to Scottish, Irish and Shetland Fiddling to Appalachian and Old Time offerings. It is a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. People feel comfortable to join in.

The Shoregate hopes to have its rooms open from late May and some of the first guests to book will be from our own Serenity Scotland Tours.
